Bingo, a game we love to play on an almost daily basis. Truth be told if it were up to us we would play all day, every day if we could, unfortunately, something called life can tend to get in the way occasionally, including the need to eat and sleep.

To celebrate our love of the game we have put together an infographic featuring a few bingo facts that we found interesting, and hope you do too.

1. The largest online bingo site win – £5.9 million

2. Over 100 million players worldwide of which approximately 80% are women, 20% men

The figures are not exact and open to debate, but most studies put the split in the ratio between bingo players sexes as around 75-85% women, 15-25% men, we went with the middle on this and a recent trend has shown that the percentage of men taking up the game is in fact increasing. 3. Originally played in 1500s Italy and known as ‘Il Gioco del Lotto d’Italia’

4. Bingo players are more mentally agile than non-bingo players
