GiG offers Pay N Play option

(PRESS RELEASE) — Gaming Innovation Group Inc. (GiG) now offers an instant registration and payment option for its operators using Trustly’s Pay N Play system. The system allows players to optionally register and pay through their online banking accounts in Sweden and Finland, with Germany soon to be offered. The simple system will allow GiG’s customers to further boost acquisition, build loyalty and stay compliant.

The technology is offered to operators on the GiG Core platform, with GiG’s in-house brand Kaboo live from today, alongside external brands Omnia Casino and the newly launched Dreamz. GiG plans to offer this to other external and internal operators in the near future. GiG’s in-house brand Thrills is to become a purely Pay N Play operator in Finland, Sweden and Germany.

The new system enables instant customer sign-ups without the significant registration churn that the iGaming sector has historically experienced as a symptom of the more drawn out registration processes currently in place. New customers can register and deposit funds quickly and safely with no cumbersome account registration process necessary. Login is also made simpler, with players having the option to use Bank ID as a quick way to log in.

Both deposits and withdrawals will become instant transactions with Pay N Play, giving players more control and simplifying their experience, while retaining the strongest registration and security protocols through KYC requirements which are fulfilled with data direct from a player’s bank. The need to scan any documents for upload as part of the registration process will become a thing of the past.

CEO of GiG Robin Reed comments, “Pay N Play will revolutionize the registration experience for players and enable higher conversion and retention while reducing churn. With instant deposits and withdrawals, this new system makes our promise to provide fair and fun gaming for all stronger.”

Mecca Bingo releases new game

(PRESS RELEASE) — Mecca Bingo is increasing customers’ chances of winning with its latest innovation, BOB.

With customer feedback citing “the same people keep winning” and “I never win” as the most common complaint when playing online, Mecca’s Best Odds Bingo (BOB) has been designed from the outset to represent fun, fairness and winning.

The focus of the new game is centered around increasing customers odds of winning. BOB offers five different price and prize points to suit player’s needs. BOB completely redefines the mechanics of an online bingo game, giving a more fair and equal opportunity to all players playing.

James Boord, Head of Bingo for Mecca Bingo, said, “The digital bingo market in the U.K. has lacked innovation within the core product for many years, with operators focusing on licensing deals and entertainment brands. We believe it was time someone innovated based on customer sentiment, providing them with a better, fairer experience.”

“BOB is a real innovation for Mecca, born from broad customer feedback and bringing the format back to focus on fun, fairness and winning. Everything has been carefully developed with player entertainment in mind. The game is designed to be simple, user friendly and fun.”

Mecca anticipates the appeal will come from the fact that everyone is on a level playing field, there’s no biases towards people who can spend more, given everyone has the same chance to win and attracting interest from customers who enjoy the thrill of winning more often.

Boord continues, “The game offers something new and exciting, creating the buzz of winning, and winning more often, which in turn offers a more engaging and exciting experience for our players. The hand of BOB is the main feature throughout the game, it allows players to create their own perception of who BOB is and is there to represent being on the players side. The hand lives through all elements of the game from logo through to the individual tickets. Living in a colorful world, created from the Mecca brand color palette.”

Angus Nisbet, Managing Director of Playtech Bingo, said, “Bingo in Britain is a strong growth area thanks to innovative products like Mecca’s BOB. It’s a real game-changer and an example of a highly collaborative project between our two teams. With new technologies allowing us to respond directly to customer demands, we are going to be able to create an even better user experience going forwards. We are really excited about our long-term future working together to create more pioneering, dynamic omnichannel bingo products.”

The game can be played online at Mecca Bingo or on an iPhone via the Mecca Bingo app that can be downloaded from the App Store. The new game is the latest addition to the popular Mecca Bingo site.

Best Odds Bingo or BOB: How the game works:

• BOB is a 50 ball variant.
• There are five different price/prize points to suit player’s needs (£0.50, £1, £1.50, £2.50 and £5) which buys 10 tickets.
• The winner is the first player who matches all their numbers and calls full house first.
• As with all bingo the full prize will go to the winner unless there is more than one winner in which case the prize amount will be shared equally.
