Charity Bingo Review
Charity Bingo is an online bingo site all about making a difference, as the name suggests, by donating a portion of every deposit made to good causes designated as Charity Bingo Heroes.
Originally launched towards the end of 2012, Charity Bingo has subsequently gone through a redesign to the current theme currently in use today. Prominently featuring a sky blue colour, a cute dog mascot and making use of the Jumpman Gaming platform, Charity Bingo features a number of bingo rooms for members to play as well as casino, scratchcards and slots, all of which are of a high standard with some generous cash jackpots to be won.
Upon landing on the homepage visitors cannot help but notice the large registration bonus that dominates the pages underneath which are registration links, charities that have been donated to and latest bingo winners. The rest of the site is accessed using the main menu located at the top of the page.
For every member who makes a deposit of £20 or more, Charity Bingo donates £1 to the nominated charity of the month featured on the site and with over £10,000 already raised for good causes is certainly proving to be a popular addition. The nominated charity changes every month and visitors can see which one has been selected and how much has been raised by visiting the Promotions page and clicking the Charity Bingo Heroes link.
We think Charity Bingo is a great idea and it is good to know that whilst we are enjoying playing the games others, less fortunate than ourselves are able to benefit. As such, this unique depositing donation idea makes Charity Bingo a more than worthwhile addition to the world of online bingo and great way to raise money for those in need.
Mobile & Tablet Gaming
There is currently no dedicated iOS or Android app for Charity Bingo, visitors to the site are automatically presented with a mobile optimised version of the website featuring all the games and promotions of the desktop version.
The mobile site had been optimised to run smoothly and loads quickly with an easy to understand interface that makes Charity Bingo just as much fun to play on the move or in the comfort of home.
Charity Bingo Social Media Pages
Charity Bingo has a Facebook page and a Twitter page that players can follow, but are they your time?
We would have thought that a Facebook page connected to the main Charity Bingo website would have been the perfect way to drum up extra donations and so, it appears, did they, for a while at least. Whilst the page is up and running and was clearly well maintained with news and gossip updates this now seems to have been given up on with the last timeline posts dating back to 2015 making the page redundant, a shame considering the possibilities.
Unfortunately this is also the case with the Charity Bingo Twitter page, again it looks as though it was used extensively with tweets on money raised and upcoming events but, again, this all stopped in 2015. For both pages particularly due to the charity angle of the main site this is an area that could do with reviving but as they currently stands neither pages are worth following at this time.
