Cheers Bingo Review
Cheers Bingo invite visitors to join in the fun with an online bingo party featuring balloons, streamers, drink and of course, lots of bingo games.
Partying since November 2012, Cheers Bingo is a suitably themed bingo site operated by Jumpman Gaming and part of the 15 Network. Proudly claiming to be “the UK leading bingo site!”, a bold claim when considering the fierce online competition and funnily enough, is then edited to “one of the leading UK online bingo sites” further down the page. Still, leading or just about leading, Cheers Bingo certainly set their stall out and clearly have lofty ambitions.
Landing on the home page, the site certainly delivers when it comes to setting a party atmosphere with a predominantly purple website decorated with streamers, balloons and a suitable logo featuring two wine glasses cheersing one another. The main menu can be found at the top of the page with the latest bingo promotion underneath, this is then followed by a link to their Facebook page, top games and another offer. Not a bad looking site and one that certainly makes reasonable use of their branding there are better looking sites available although visually Cheers Bingo is fine rather than anything special.
From a gaming perspective, the choice available is not too bad with a decent of bingo rooms and games to choose from including 90 and 75 ball bingo, casino games and slots. Whilst perfectly adequate, nicely presented, glitch free and professionally run there is nothing new here for seasoned players, especially for those who have tried other Jumpman Gaming powered bingo sites. Like many other sites, before playing, it is required to become a member first, which takes a few minutes, needing details such as username, password and a payment method, after which players are free to get stuck into the gaming. It is also worth checking out the Bingo Tips accessed from the main menu before playing for a few useful pointers in making the most of any gaming session.
We want to like Cheers Bingo and it does a lot things right and certainly ticks all the boxes, reasonable looks, decent selection of games, runs smoothly, plays on any device and is generally a well run and produced online bingo site. That is the problem though, there is nothing here to make it stand out from an overcrowded market, would we play the site again, yes, would we add it to our favourites, no, a decent then and you could do a lot worse, just nothing outstanding or to back up “the leading UK bingo site!” claim.
Mobile & Tablet Gaming
Members of Cheers Bingo who would prefer to play on a mobile device are well catered for. With neither an iOS of Android app available for download, players need to visit the normal website address where they will automatically be redirected to a mobile version of the site.
Cheers Bingo on mobile features all the same games and promotions as the main desktop website wrapped in an easy to use layout, specifically designed for the smaller screen. Keeping the same branding, the games load with no noticeable issues and run smoothly, providing members a great alternative to the main big screen version and allowing them to play their favourite games wherever and whenever they want.
Cheers Bingo Social Media Pages
Cheers Bingo has two social media accounts, a Facebook page and a Twitter page that run in conjunction with the main website.
Their Facebook page is routinely updated every few days or so with new posts, consisting mainly of fun material and the odd news post thrown in for good measure. More a source of amusement, rather than an account to keep tabs on the latest website news, their Facebook page is not an essential follow although at least they make an effort to keep the account running which is a lot more than some other bingo sites do.
The same could be said of their Twitter page, which features similar material, so mainly fun tweets with the occasional news post. Again, not overly relevant to the main site, whether this account is worth following depends on what you are looking for.
Both the Facebook page and Twitter account reflect the fun nature of the main site although those looking to keep up with the latest goings on are better off heading to the Cheers Bingo blog.
