(PRESS RELEASE) — Global Gaming is further strengthening the financial side of the organisation with the addition of a new role, Operational Chief Financial Officer (Operational CFO), as part of the management team.
Michael Gatt was officially appointed to the Operational CFO role for the Maltese subsidiary and will, effective today, be part of the management team. Gatt has been the Finance Manager for the Maltese subsidiary since September 2017 and had previously worked for Betsafe, Europe Entertainment Ltd and PWC.
“I am proud but also pleased by this vote of confidence and the new responsibilities that come with the new role. I am looking forward to being part of this talented management team,” said Gatt.
Group CFO Christoffer Tell will continue to be a part of the management team but will shift his focus more toward governance, investor relations and working more actively in M&A-related matters.
“Michael has worked hard and has certainly proven his worth over the past year,” said CFO Christoffer Tell. “So I feel very confident in handing over part of my areas of responsibility to him. This new division of responsibilities will allow me to make more effective use of resources and focus on developing the company. This in turn means we’ll be more agile and responsive when the right opportunities arise.”
